Our number one priority as a leading builder in the Brisbane area, is the customer satisfaction of our clients and to continue to build our reputation for excellence.  The customer journey at Nuvo Homes has been designed to be simple and transparent: 

Initial Consultation

Reach out to our friendly customer service team to arrange your complimentary and obligation free building consultation. In this session we will learn more about you and your family, what is important to you in your new home and help you choose a plan that suits your block, your location and your family’s needs.

Selections and Inclusions

We have learned over the past 20 years, that no two clients are alike. When designing your custom home, you want to have complete control over the design, functionality and finishes. Our expert design consultants will help you navigate a wide range of options and inclusions and decide on which selections are right for your new home. We can provide you with a preliminary estimate based on these selections to help you understand your potential investment in a new custom home.

Site Evaluation

Before providing you with a final quote, site inspections will be required in order to test the soil, survey the land, and get a solid understanding of your block. We will use this information in order to prepare your quote and make allowances for any specific challenges that are discovered during these assessments.

Custom Plans and Drafting

Once we understand more about your custom design requirements, your inclusion selections, and the block that we will be building on, our team of building designers will work together to finalise your building plans for your approval.

Plan Review

Your custom home consultant will arrange a meeting to present your plans and answer any questions you may have at this time. We will also explain the building process, the various milestones, and timelines that can be expected as well as the progress billing that will occur as we complete each step of the build.

Construction Contract Preparation

Once your plans are approved by you, our contracts team will prepare the building contract in line with our agreed design, inclusions and timelines. We will provide you with this contract for your review and answer any questions you or your independent legal advisors may have.

Sign Off and Deposit

Once you are ready to proceed, we will arrange sign off on your contracts and take a 5% deposit less any preliminary deposits that have already been paid.

Plan Submission and Council Approval

Our team look after all aspects of submitting plans for building approval and the process of liaising with private certifiers and councils. The amount of time it takes for plans to be approved varies depending on the council, the plans themselves, and the responses from neighbours in your area.

Confirmation of Colour Selections and Inclusions

Whilst plans are in the process of being approved, we will continue to work with you to further refine your final selections for the finishes of your home. At Nuvo Homes, we understand that sometimes clients do change their mind, so we make sure that we are flexible and helpful at every stage in the process.

Council Approval and Breaking Ground

Once the necessary approvals are confirmed with council, and you have finalised all of your colour selections, we will arrange to commence work on your custom home build. Over our 20 years in business we have built strong relationships with some of the best tradespeople and subcontractors in the Brisbane market.
