View Process

The Building Process with Nuvo Homes in 10 easy steps

  1. Meet with one of our design consultants to choose your design or give us yours to quote.
  2. Choose the inclusions you would like to have in your home, a preliminary quote will then be prepared for you – approx 1 week.
  3. Prior to establishing a ‘Firm’ building quote, the following tests need to be carried out on your land, and a preliminary deposit will be taken. Tests include a soil test, contour survey and wind rating certificate. This work takes approximately 10 days to complete.
  4. It takes approximately 2 weeks to draft plans and finalise any changes you may have.
  5. Plans are approved by you.
  6. Prepare the building contract – 1 week.
  7. Sign the contract and pay a 5% deposit (less the preliminary deposit already paid).
  8. We lodge the plans with our private certifier - the building application lodgment and approval takes approximately  4 weeks (depending on the council and or siting relaxations needed).
  9. During the building application approval process you can meet with our colour selection co-coordinator to finalise your colour selections.
  10. 10. Once we received the approved plans, your finance approval, signed colour Selection, we can start on site. Please confirm the length of construction with your Consultant, as times vary depending on the size of the home.
